@Cinemaniac94 Can definitely second all of these opinions. I didn’t think the film was great but overall good. I thought it was a bit too James Gunn-ified for a Superman movie. There was just a bit too much creative freedom given for such a big film. However, still excited to see the DCU after
#Superman was a fun Summer blockbuster.
I think the film has a bit too much "James Gunn-isms" and breaks serious scenes up with too much comedy, specifically with Krypto as well as other things. Superman and Lex by the end of the film seem to have good chemistry, and I love (1/4)
Rather than thinking of superhero epics like #ZackSnyder's interpretations, go in expecting a Saturday morning cartoon from the likes of the Super Friends. #ManofSteel is still the superior Superman movie in my opinion, but this is still surely going to be a fun time for (3/4).
@AMCTheatres Unfortunately my theater seemed to have never received the week 2 posters and only got the week 1 ones. Seems like a bit of false advertising.
@sad_longhorn Yeah agreed. Hopefully some ironing out with all this will help fix the system over the next 5 years or so, but it’s tough to get one conference on the same page, let along all 4 power conferences.
@sad_longhorn Yeah I 100% agree with that. I think the SEC also needs to stop having these FCS games scheduled each year, to help them in scenarios like this. A 9-3 Ole Miss for instance would look a lot better if they had another win against a team like Iowa or Syracuse instead of Furman.
@sad_longhorn My problem isn’t with the blowouts necessarily, you’re right, the first round of playoffs are meant to weed out teams. Would you agree though evening out schedules would do better to help teams have more beef on their resume that way these discussions wouldn’t need to be had?
@sad_longhorn They’re not though? Oregon has strong wins, same as Ohio State & Arizona State. It’s about evening the schedules out. The ACC is just a weaker conference overall, but regardless SMU had an unbalanced schedule. All 4 super power-conferences, SEC included, need to work on balance.
