Someone else pointed out in the second picture it says that "foreign players tend to treat it as a game" and I think this is EXACTLY why shit went to hell in a handbasket so fucking fast.

Because if not the majority, a MASSIVE portion of the global playerbase are GAMERS and not just otome but many, many other types of games from FPS to RPG. If Infold/PPG believes this is not typical for their CN playerbase (and I have no idea if it is or not) then they truly did not see the massive global backlash coming.

Because you do not promise gamers something and then snatch it away.

@Love_Deepspace and any other Chinese gaming company: if you want to succeed in the global regions, then you need to treat your players as serious gamers ESPECIALLY female gamers.
