@lukescott82@Oilfield_Rando Test kills your fertility and your balls even may shrink my man. Exogenous testosterone is not some magic bullet, it has significant side effects.
@GreyPillGrim@SecWar Studying and understanding the environmental causes for the accelerated dropping of natural T levels is a much more expensive and time consuming process than evaluating our active service members and treating them now.
@pointandcircle@EGVroom Nah, Epic doesn’t need to do anything to convince studios to use their engine. Engine teams carry risk that publishers will happily offload to Epic. Publishers don’t want to fund internal risky costs.
@davidscottjaffe@NVIDIAGFN I think streaming is cool, I used it on my Steam Deck for Game Pass games and it worked mostly well. I think the negative reaction, at least for me, comes from the idea that owning the hardware is a privilege when my only ISP option (Xfinity) doesn’t offer reliable latency.
@Hattusilis_III@DNLSHLR@BonkDaCarnivore I may just be a dumb dumb, I’m no economist. I don’t see how there’s not a relation to banks lending out large sums of money and mitigating risk by ensuring their asset can help them recuperate if the loan defaults. Maybe I just worded my initial reply poorly?
@DNLSHLR@BonkDaCarnivore Mortgages only work because homes are not a depreciating asset. If home values weren’t investments there’d be no interesting in lending money for people to buy them to live in.
@IceSolst You have to be genuinely stupid to take anything posted on this site as serious. It’s either rage bait, hyping for engagement, corpo shilling, or bots.
@ChShersh I love that so many tech people are just okay disenfranching a huge portion of the world where broadband barely exists, live on metered usage, or have huge latency issues.
@Malix_Labs@GrowlerEnjooyer Except streaming isn’t ownership it’s renting. Which is fine but call it what it is. You don’t own digital media that is dependent on a third-party.
@lauriewired Now answer how we get ubiquitous high quality low latency high-speed broadband to 100% of the United States that won’t become bandwidth saturated with everyone streaming?
@vanilagy My perspective is that you should be able to look at code regardless of the language, so long as you can mostly understand the syntax, and not be surprised. Unless there is a requirement for tuned performance in a hot path. Listening after emitting could be a smell in other langs
@Qwik@davidscottjaffe It seems apparent that they’re using Faye as the way to build the sinew for connecting the other myths. God of War is a strong IP and I doubt Kratos is going anywhere. I see this more like a Spider-Man: Miles Morales sequel.
@valigo@Valen_UMR That’s because you can’t scratch the itch to check X if you’re offline. Being offline just forces abstinence from the social media addiction.
Talk about enshitification. This little plastic piece is all that holds the wand in for the @BISSELLclean CleanView and it just snapped mid-use. Vacuum isn’t even that old 🙃
