Niantic have definitely handled this situation badly. Not only the removal of the increased pokestop/interaction radius, but as well as the absence of communication/response to the overwhelming amount of feedback we’ve given. We shouldn’t be mad at each other, but with Niantic.

You seriously want to be heard?
1. Don't do any AR mapping. Niantic collects this data and sells it.
2. Stop spending money. You can get 50 coins a day from gyms.
3. Don't spin sponsored stops. Heck even Niantic is helping you guys with that one.
4. Don't open sponsored gifts.

After spending the last 2 hours reading hundreds of Tweets & Comments about the DECREASED interaction radius, I can't find anyone saying that they like the change. With so many NEGATIVE feelings just from US & NZ, I can't imagine what will happen when this rolls out worldwide...

RIP #PokemonGo This game has gone from being a fun daily activity to work to obtain the required resources to play. The Pokéstop and Gym access distance reduction in the US and NZ makes this game a job. I already have a job - that I get paid for. @NianticHelp @PokemonGoApp

@PokemonGoApp tweeted anything, while making game breaking changes in the meantime.

. @NianticLabs instead of decreasing Stop/Gym spin distance leave it 2x distance BUT decrease distance for SPONSORED Stops/Gyms to 1km for those POIs: increase their item drop RARITY & drop rate AMOUNT so people will go out of their way to spin them. + offer DISCOUNTS IN-STORE.🙏
