Thank you to the @KingsCollegeLon medical students for delivering Day 1 of the Medical Activity Days with our Yr10 aspiring medics. There were discussions about diagnosing patients, administering CPR and practising using defibrillators. We are really looking forward to day 2!

Extracting DNA from strawberries by Year 9's this morning. Using soapy salt water breaks down the nuclear and cell membrane, releasing the DNA. Ethanol causes the DNA to precipate at the surface #listerscience
