I believe in volunteering. I have learnt a lot from volunteering and it has created opportunities for me. I also volunteer to help my friends. When my friend was doing a project years back and asked me to accompany her, I didn't hesitate. It made me see that The Girls Table needed to cater to girls and young women living in rural and hard to reach areas. From there we expanded our vision and never looked back.

Now, when she told me about her new research project, I offered to help before she asked. This time, through volunteering for her, I am developing my research skills. I believe in her project and I am sharing her poster for those who would like to support. No amount is too small and sharing on other platforms is greatly appreciated. Thank you😘

Taught my Gr8 son Gr9 math. Watching it back, I realised my explanation for finding factors wasn't well articulated—adult mental shortcuts are hard to put into words! His questions showed where we both need to adjust.
