Too many young people in our city lack access to safe, enriching environments after school and during the summer, and that contributes to numerous problems including education, public safety and more.

This is why I am proposing to establish Youth Development Centers in each of Jersey City's six wards, spaces that will offer more than just gym time. Our youth deserve access to performing arts studios, computer labs for homework help, and mentors who can guide them through SAT prep and other crucial steps to success.

It is the way you get accountability and stop this nonsense ballot reform
Committee, OPRA and ELEC setbacks… We beat the machine when I ran for city council and we beat them when i ran for mayor… we are going to change how politics works in NJ

Primaries are healthy for building a party and for getting the best representation. This coming week we will start rolling out Assembly candidates that we will support in 2025. Each is different but I can tell you they believe in reinstating OPRA, support responsible campaign finance rules, and they will put the public first before party bosses. 

What will be clear as we do this is:

1) there is a deep bench of amazing ppl with amazing bios in NJ that have felt boxed out from running before (I’m glad they are engaging now)

2) our campaign for Governor has meaningful support in places that pundits would have said we wouldn’t. We will be the only campaign that will have this ability

3) we are going to put the resources into these campaigns to give these candidates the support they need to win

We are just getting started!

Its an accurate article here and I definitely have zero doubts about where we are situated in the Governor’s race. It’s the right place from a policy standpoint + to be effective for change. Progress isn’t possible if you are entirely beholden to the status quo structure in NJ. We will build person by person.
