@pragmaticmom A7 Encourage a growth mindset so adapting to the unexpected is an opportunity to learn and satisfy curiosity, not a reason for fear or disrespect. For example, when a new child of another race or ethnic origin joins your class at school.#ReadYourWorld

@pragmaticmom A5 I think humorous stories that expose children to common thought patterns that hurt our ability to deal with diversity and change. Like the Frog and Toad series by Arnold Lobel or the Hoopoe Teaching-Stories by Idries Shah.#ReadYourWorld
