in the book grace is the one who asks to be involved in the project, which is pretty common knowledge, but the fact eva tells him no and only agrees after grace mentions its to avoid his kids growing up in an apocalypse OH he reached that unconditional love for humanity she hasπ₯Ή
@Lbr789Er@adriansaurorae that broke me ok like that was NOT necessary to be said pls he was very smart okay ππ my heart aches everytime i remember tht
grace's line from the book.. "Itβs a dark and depressing feeling, to have all your closest colleagues get together and decide you should die."
oh god, WHY WOULD YOU POINT THIS OUT πππππππ
good morning iβm thinking about how rocky saving grace was the event that triggered his memory of being asked to go on the mission. rocky sacrificing himself for grace and both their planets reminded him of having to contemplate his own sacrifice for the world
@adriansaurorae sameee ππππ and yk.. grace and rocky doing all that together to save both the planets and grace assuming at every stage he must've volunteered and geniunely feeling brave.. and then that memory ππ god!! his reaction to it being oh. im a coward. IT BROKE ME
@adriansaurorae@feedthecath Yes exactly!! and the time frame makes it more complex like? I sometimes don't like when people call him a coward.. he was anything but. he was having a very natural response. Maybe if there was more than enough time he would've agreed himself. But that's situational fault.
@feedthecath@adriansaurorae not their fault either. Like stratt says, this might seem like me betraying you but it's rather me believing in you. it's one of my fav lines from the movie coz it really does convey everything
@feedthecath@adriansaurorae that is very true! It's just, the situation was so dire and grace was given such less time to decide to go on a one way trip, it's the only conclusion he was able to come to at that moment! It's all complex and i like that. Like, we KNOW how dire earth's situation was.
@adriansaurorae and then being told he was the correct choice to go on the mission because he has no one here ππ imagine being told by people you considered your friends that no one cares enough for you here to want you to live ππ
we have pride walk in office today and team members are discussing how they don't care, how they're neutral, or how and why should we celebrate them with a separate month june, & highlight that they're special, we're already accepting them
SOMEONE STOP ME FROM K WORDING SOMEONE
I don't want to hear about male loneliness. You have any idea how lonely women are? The loneliness of not being able to step out of the home without permission. The loneliness, often, of not even being able to talk on the phone without family interference. The loneliness & shame+
as a woman who dated a guy with a lower libido than me and often times he would want to just go to bed and not have sex. i never felt this way at all. i loved him and respected his boundaries. i think you guys are just rapists
One constant thought while watching main vaapas aaunga was how unfair it must've been for Ishar's wife. A loveless marriage is one thing, being married to a man deeply devoted to someone else is another. No wonder she died young.
Never marry someone if you're not over a past love
