I’ve compiled a list of Black and Woman owned businesses to support this holiday season. If you’re a business that falls under these categories, please let me know and I’ll add you to the list.

as someone who quite literally has two kids and adores being a mother: don’t have kids if you don’t genuinely want them. I wanted kids, and I was still wildly naive when it came to the sacrifices necessary to be a parent. you have to WANT this to make it work.
it’s very clear what’s happening btw. the supreme court has been told to ban it so that trump can save it as soon as he gets into office. he wants to be seen as a savior. the tiktok ceo is literally going to his inauguration lol
-> goggles are a good tool to have with you in the case they release tear gas
-> bring a water bottles
-> long sleeves, long pants, gloves
-> know your rights, and make sure if you’re stopped that whoever is stopping you knows you’re aware of your rights
Want to remind anybody who may be going to any protests:
-> sharpie out your tattoos & anything else that makes you easily identifiable
-> if you have long hair, wear a close to scalp hairstyle, under a hat is ideal
-> neutral clothing to aid in anonymity
-> look up what is legal to carry in your state and what’s not, some don’t allow you to carry things like pepper spray. heavy lock and a quality scarf can be all the self protection you need
-> clear bags
-> first aid kit
-> staying with the group is safest
being such a words person when your children don’t understand words yet is so hard. how am I supposed to convey “yes your drool on my face is gross but it’s a cost I am willing to endure if it means hearing you laugh because I am kissing your belly” to a baby??
to help some people who genuinely might not know, more than likely what’s happening here is this person hasn’t hit their deductible yet. typically ins will only cover a small % until the deductible is met, then they’ll cover most/all of it
I pay around $300 per month for health insurance for myself.
I went to a doctors appointment to establish primary care and had one lab done.
I now owe $696 out of pocket. For one appointment.
What is the point of this?!
If the person seems uncomfortable (avoiding eye contact, giving short answers, trying to give an excuse to go somewhere else), thank them for their time and wish them a good day/evening/night
think small touches that could very easily be friendly as well)
-> body language (lean towards them, make eye contact, smile often)
-> directness (“I saw you across the bar, and wanted to introduce myself” “i was hoping to get to know you better”)
-> ask questions about them
how to flirt 101:
-> complimenting (not necessarily body PARTS; “your hair looks so nice” “you smell so good” “your outfit looks good on you”)
-> noticing (“did you do your makeup different?” “are those new shoes?”)
-> physical touch (soft touch on the arm, brush of the hands
I'm being so real: how the FUCK do you flirt with people IRL without accidentally sexually harassing them? I'm so scared of fucking this up.
Sincerely,
An autistic girl
there should be a service in target where I can ask for a more seasoned mom’s advice. like my daughters hair is very long and I need to start putting it up, but what are the best things to use for that? I need to talk to a mom!!!!!
this was taken when I was pregnant after I made Drew go get lucky charms at 9pm because I wanted them so bad that I was crying so hard I couldn’t breathe 🤍
