When the DA negotiated the Multi-Party Charter prior to 2024, they submitted the below policy, a pre-determined licensing outcome specifically for Starlink.

The DA sent Tony Leon in as the Chairperson of Resolve Communications to negotiate for the GNU for them.

The DA received the Ministry of Communications from the negotiations. Coincidence?

It is later confirmed that Starlink is a client of Resolve Communications. Were they all along?

Resolve Communications leverages DA connections to facilitate meetings between the DA Communications Minister and Starlink and, later, the then DA leader and Starlink.

So, some SA fans may have already paid more than R2000 for a ticket that is now on sale for R650! A SARU spokesperson blamed the slow sales on the war in Iran - that’s really good spin! Hopefully, Cricket SA has learned something from this after only making 13% of the Newlands test tickets available to the SA public!
