Would be wonderful in our midfield but that prize is a no-go. Club not prioritizing midfielders at the moment either but maybe later in the window someone like Camara could be a more affordable option.
West Ham intend to set Mateus Fernandes asking price at £80m.
Southampton due 15 per cent sell-on.
#MUFC interested in 21-year-old, among several midfield options. PSG also considering an approach.

”I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.”
Liverpool heard the message from Salah and in Iraola they’ve got the guy that can recover the intense identity and make Anfield a fortress and a force of unity again. I just have a really good feeling about this, it feels like my club is coming home again❤️
I've simulated the World Cup 100,000 times and one thing is already clear about the new 48-team format:
✅ 6 pts = 100% qualify
✅ 4 pts = 99.8% qualify
⚠️ 3 pts = 67% qualify
❌ 2 pts = 5% qualify
The new format is quite forgiving.
3 points and a -2 goal difference gets you through more often than not.
[🟢] NEW: Tottenham Hotspur have had a bid rejected for Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke, who is valued at £70m.
Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested.

Agree with this from Chivu and Iraola fits this to a tee. It’s of course not without risk and not a ”one size fits all”-solution, but after 18 months of Slot-ball completely void of bravery on and off the ball I’m looking forward to proactive risk taking with Iraola. It’s the best way to get Anfield bouncing and the team competitive again.
