Dunn was inspired by Project LIT, the first initiative that got her interested in bringing LIT titles in her classroom. Dunn is a finalist for the competition, which is based on traffic to the post. More LIT titles will be funded for her room if she wins. Check it out!

One of the first Project LIT titles being used in an ELA classroom to truly ENGAGE students. Representation in texts is one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal and makes a world of difference to students who aren't always represented, particularly in ELA.
