Happy Reading! 😄
Maybe I’m being irrational. But after hearing about yesterday, I just feel so uneasy. Nervous about being where I am and taking my child into large public spaces.
One of my most memorable and haunting scenes of actress KPAC Lalitha.
Left us today for her heaven abode, leaving behind an evergreen imprint.
#RIPKPACLalitha
An end of an era. One of the finest actresses that Indian cinema has ever seen. Malayalam cinema will never be the same without her. Rest in glory, trailblazer! ❤✨️ #KPACLalitha
Rest In Power and Glory, Greatest of all times, Acting Legend KPAC Lalitha. Indian cinema will miss you. There was, is and there never will be another like you. Two national awards, four state awards, & many iconic characters. There's no genre you haven't excelled in 💔
Hey, my writer friends, I made it past 400 followers! Thank you ALL for your help in achieving that! To celebrate, I'm going to attempt a #writerslift Drop your #books, #WIPs, #Blogs and good news! I'll retweet and follow back!
@bookwormnchild@chetan_bhagat It makes no sense to get a few "sales" at the cost of stereotyping a whole community. He could've asked his wife, she's south indian, that's the bare minimum that could be done here. I am not reading this crap.

@bookwormnchild@chetan_bhagat The basis of writing anything, be it a technical paper or a book, is research. When a person is planting a story on a real place, he should have done the basic minimum research, travel to the place, see and feel what its like. If its about a gone era, discuss with historians..
@bookwormnchild@chetan_bhagat So much falsehood in One book ... Just wish people would do more research ...also hope Readers would read some good Indian books and make them bestsellers instead of this book which is filled to with Lies. There are so many good Indian books out there on Kerala ..Do read Those
We don't use this text book language in our household. Every place has its on variation in the language.
@chetan_bhagat@WestlandBooks you are portraying our culture differently in front of a wider audience. We are not like this , our language is not like this.
The traditional houses are having tiled roof and how dangerous it is to have a coconut tree near it.
Then the language when Alia's mother uses. It is a mix of malayalam and English. It looks like the author used English Malayalam dictionary for reference.
In reality we eat in banana leaves only on festivals.
And this traditional house with the courtyard has a coconut tree in the corner of the courtyard. The smaller child used to have nap in the shade of it. How dangerous.
He got the history entirely wrong. Vasco da Gama first landed in Kappad, Calicut. But in this book it is Fort Kochi. This is simply mocking our history.
Whenever in a Kerala household people eat in open Courtyard sitting in mats and food served in banana leaves.
