@mrdanwalker Ticketmaster have a firm hold of both the primary and secondary ticket markets so there is no incentive. Add to that, its 'market value' pricing and it can charge whatever it likes!
@henrywinter Who would have thought Crystal Palace would provide more players than any other? It's a credit to the club's commitment to home grown players.
@andertonsmusic Pete Townshend's SG from Woodstock. P90s thru HiWatt stacks, tone nirvana. He chucked it into the audience at the end....but a roadie grabbed it back!!
@marcrileydj My fave is where they split the house in two with a partition but share the TV, one half each! A whole episode built around one gag. Brilliant!
@andertonsmusic A Night at the Opera... A Christmas present from my brother in 1975. He told me, "Listen to it all, not just Bohemian Rhapsody!" What an album!!
@philmcnulty I recall betting companies paying out on Stoke relegation bets in 2008... before their first season in the Prem had even started! Silly season. ...And totally disrespectful. Clubs who get to the Prem without a single parachute payment should be celebrated.
@stokecity Hoever will have caught the eye of a lots of clubs. He won't be back at Wolves for long, I suspect. And out of our price range too probably.
@StanCollymore ...and while all this is going on the crowd have no clue what is happening...for five minutes! Surely, VAR should have looked at the penalty issue first, as it happened before the offside? What a waist of 3/4 minutes looking at the offside!
@Fotball79 @stokecity@Cymru The engine room at Stoke. It was Mahoney who did the graft, allowing the likes of Alan Hudson to work his mercurial magic in the mid 70s. But John could play too. Always looked to play the ball forward.
@BBCMOTD@alanshearer This discussion was too Prem focused, European ones at that. What about League 1 or 2 clubs earning replays v Championship clubs or National League v League 1? These are money makers for cash strapped clubs that are not impacted by the UEFA calendar.
