And people who want optimal gear for things like speedruns can just hack it in on PC like they always have. It's not like Capcom bans people for having gear that is technically possible to acquire. I think the MH devs know what they're doing and put random gear in for a reason.

I'm kinda miffed to see the crazy hardware requirements just to run Monster Hunter Wilds at 30 FPS. I think I'm going to sit out this one out at least until the MR expansion. Hopefully they optimize the game a bit by then.
