@tobiaschneider 2-4 is a particularly sensitive period for a child to feel useful. They are gaining a lot of bodily independence, but not many ways to show it or funnel it to good purposes. Utilizing memory work and across the room movement is classic Montessori. They are destructive when bored.

- Use their authority as husbands to justify cruelty, intimidation or unreasonable demands

- Excuse adultery or sexual relationships with other women on the grounds that men naturally desire sexual variety

- Watch pornography, even if they believe their wives are neglecting their marital duties

- Needlessly expose or ridicule their wives' faults to other men to gain their approval or demonstrate superiority

A good intention NEVER justifies an evil act, and a husband can't lead his wife towards virtue by practising vice himself.
