Hello everyone! Yo can check out our written interview with writer, podcaster, ak show host and all around great guy @jpantalleresco here! https://t.co/WCQ5EwZXBm
I've lately seen folks on here say they've felt guilty for getting books (mine and other authors) from the library, or people insinuating some authors might be against libraries. This is nonsense, and here's a thread on how using your local library supports authors.
@ladyxesphio Is it a time issue?
I'm a former insomniac who taught myself to sleep using Sasha Stephens' The Effortless Sleep Method.
May help, if that's where you're at.
@diana_wingo I mean, you can find some great advice at https://t.co/S1mSJLAeUQ π
But,
1.) Set a daily word count goal and stick to it
2.) Learn the craft (join the community)
3.) Share your work and get feedback
4.) Don't take criticism personally
You got this!
@MarcusCVance Had a similar issue with a novel that's been put aside at the moment.
I made it chapter 1, but the chapter kept expanding as beta readers felt they needed to understand what happened to the character better. And it still didn't really work.
So I'd recommend flashbacks/memories.
They say "to be a good writer you have to write a lot and read a lot."
The writing because you have to practice AND have product available.
The reading because you can absorb the powers of every single author and become more powerful than mortals dare imagine
