There are ~7 million Americans who are immunocompromised, more vulnerable to severe Covid, and now Evusheld rendered ineffective. We've just launched a new direct-to-participant-research program with free molecular tests & rapid delivery of meds if needed

The @CDCgov doubles down on its flawed, not evidence based Covid recommendations with a new guidance document
1. Leaves fully vaccinated = 2 shots, stay "up to date"
2. Leaves isolation at 5 days w/o rapid tests
3. Pushes "community levels" when real info is "transmission levels"
@mwkraus I very much enjoyed your class Prof. Krauss. We need more analysis and critique of sociopolitical inequalities in business school, not less. Yale's loss.
I've been saying for weeks that as cases recede
We can soon relax public health restrictions
I think of this like the weather
When it is bucketing rain
Umbrella, rain coat, boots, are all essential
When the storm turns into a drizzle, those become less critical

Data points that ought to sound alarms......so much of this is preventable.
158,000 new cases reported in the US today, along with over 1,400 deaths
The 7-day average will soon exceed 100,000 new cases/day. Hospitalizations increased, very close to 50,000

Antibody Testing does not predict protection against SARS-CoV-2 & is not recommended. Memory B & T cells provide protection even after waning of neutralizing antibodies. So far, no threshold level of Ab has been identified https://t.co/GFVOTISmwz via @JAMA_current@JAMANetwork
@ariellelb These stylists were actually at a salon in Springfield, #MO and infected each other during breaks when they removed their masks. Very happy to see the @CDCgov promote this study, and glad to hear that you are safe and well! #MasksWork#WearAMaskSaveALife
"We should not be fighting COVID-19 as 50 separate fights, 50 separate states and territories," Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal tells NPR.
"This needs to be a collaborative national-level fight." https://t.co/bZKPTkD4bo
@TIAA Lots of login trouble, and when I do my checking account has disappeared from my account list. Can't deposit/withdraw funds. ETA on a fix please?
@TracyNovick @ZahavaEdBuild The link to the bill tracking page is broken, even when I look it up through the legislature's website. Any word on what happened with it, and where I can find more info? Did it pass /get signed?
@kaitlynkrasselt I'm (barely) a millennial who moved to CT from NYC 15 years ago, and never meant to stay either. I was in San Francisco last week, and I'd definitely pick CT over the Bay Area, no matter how many of my generation are flocking there to live 5 to 2 bedroom apartment!
