🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting from parents in Maine after public schools are now RECONSIDERING allowing kids to READ WITH FOSTER DOGS...
...over the RELIGIOUS BELIEFS of Muslims who believe dogs are "unclean"
Yes, a program where kids sit with puppies and read books is now being reviewed because of Islam.
It started at Ocean Avenue Elementary.
Students were offered the chance to step into a play pen and read alongside foster dogs.
The thought was simple: the kids get to snuggle dogs and the foster dogs... but then came a Portland school committee meeting.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. "Abdullahi Ahmed" raised how dogs are viewed in the Islamic faith.
His words: “The dog saliva is considered impure.”
Now the board is writing new policy language built around RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL considerations that could keep dogs out of the classroom all together.
This is insane.
WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?!!!!!!!!
Clocks fell back Sunday
The iPhone fixed it
The MacBook fixed it
The building did not
Walked the floor at 7:40
Eleven clocks
Seven correct
Four still on summer
Breakroom microwave says 8:52
It is 7:52
Nobody has touched it since March
Nobody is going to
Conference room wall clock is an hour fast
Two meetings in there yesterday ended fifty minutes early
Nobody objected
Best productivity number of the quarter
Boss man’s Tesla updated itself Sunday
Correct to the second
He looked at the microwave
Asked why it has not done the same
Karen sent the firm-wide daylight saving reminder at 7:31
Two days after the clocks changed
On time by her clock
Gramps sent word from the land
He does not change anything
Sun came up when it always does
Moon went down when it always does
He says the clocks are the only thing that moved
Tried to fix the microwave
Nine buttons
It now blinks 12:00
Most honest clock in the building

Tu n'as plus besoin d'y croire. Tu as juste besoin d'avancer.
I wish I never had to take another opioid painkiller for the rest of my life.
There. I said it.
For two years, prescription opioids have given me something chronic illness took away:
a measure of quality of life.
The ability to walk, leave my house, drive somewhere, sit through a movie, or enjoy an ordinary afternoon without debilitating pain.
But there’s a side of prescription pain management that healthy people rarely understand.
The medication that gives me some freedom also makes me feel like a prisoner.
Every 28 days, my ability to function depends on a prescription being written, approved, stocked, and filled.
Every month, I live with the knowledge that a physician could retire, become afraid to prescribe, or abruptly stop treating me.
A pharmacy could refuse to fill my prescription.
A shortage could leave me without medication.
And because my body has developed physical dependence, losing access could mean withdrawal on top of the return of excruciating pain.
Imagine living with that uncertainty indefinitely.
Imagine wanting to fall in love again and wondering how to explain to someone that you need prescription oxycodone just to enjoy a walk in the park together.
Imagine being judged by family, friends, emergency physicians, and strangers for taking the very medication that allows you to participate in life.
Who would willingly choose this existence?
I didn’t ask for incurable, painful medical conditions.
I didn’t ask for treatment after treatment to fail. And I certainly didn’t dream of spending my life tethered to a controlled substance and a pain management contract.
I would give anything to wake up tomorrow without pain and never need another opioid.
But that’s not the reality I live in.
And physical dependence from taking medication as prescribed does not automatically mean addiction.
My ability to participate in the world is contingent upon the very medication that our healthcare system makes increasingly difficult for patients like me to access.
Read that again.
I’m grateful for the relief.
I’m exhausted by the uncertainty.
And I’m tired of being made to feel ashamed for needing treatment.
Chronic pain patients deserve dignity, continuity of care, and individualized treatment.
We deserve to live.
And we deserve to stop being treated like criminals for trying to do exactly that.
So I just received a phone call on my private number from "journalist" @jordangreennc of rawstory dot com.
He wanted to talk to me about @DataRepublican's "Democracy Files" and the ongoing Color Revolution revealed in those same files.
I did what I normally do when a "journalist" cold calls me and I reminded him that his chosen profession is a malodorous blight of infamous lies and misinformation, I recommended that he listen to the tapes and report fairly, and then I hung up.
However, I know he has also been contacting others via email, and I have seen the loaded questions he is asking to further the conclusion he reached before he ever started on his story. Those "questions" rotate around four assumptions that he has obviously already determined to be true:
1. Donald Trump is an illegitimate tyrant bent on destroying "our democracy."
2. The Color Revolution plotters are simply patriots trying to preserve "our democracy."
3. Everyone uncovering the plot is a liar trying to mislead the public into believing that this highly benevolent group of patriotic Americans is instead really mounting a coup, and we are irresponsible for creating such misinformation.
4. The people uncovering the coup plot are actually the ones trying to ignite a violent civil war.
Folks, please remember that the "Narrative" component of a textbook color revolution depends on a compliant media that actively seeks to undermine and destroy the "legitimacy" of the serving government in the days and weeks before the Color Revolutionaries get to the trigger event for their coup.
The article this man is writing is a part of that Narrative component. I'm not accusing him of being in bed directly with the plotters, but I do know that fellow travelers in the Democrat/Media Complex usually need no prompting to spread disinformation and lies when it comes to Donald Trump.
The Color Revolution attempt unfolds before our very eyes.

Junior requested a meeting with The Kid
Not with me
With The Kid
He went around the manager
I let it happen
He opened with the costume
Astronaut
Mars mission
Every mission needs a rover
He mentioned Elon twice before the agenda
Ever since space camp Junior talks like he has his number
One item on the agenda
The hoverboard
Junior caught wind of it Thursday
Nobody knows how
He was not asking
He was telling The Kid what the asset is for
The Kid tried the obvious question
What does Aunt B say
The helmet was on the table before he finished the sentence
Risk answered before it was raised
Boss man has never done that once
Then I asked about his sister
She can’t ride
She stays home with Aunt B on candy duty
He brings her back a cut
Ten percent
For holding the house
He is six
He already has a carry structure
The Kid never got to ask what he gets
Junior thanked him for his time
Shook his hand
Walked out with the hoverboard
His sister is home with Aunt B all night
She knows everything
Ten percent buys a lot of quiet

I asked 50 Japanese people, ages 9 to 91, one question.
"What do you admire most about Americans?"
Here are the top answers.
10. "They clap when the plane lands." (Office worker, 34)
9. "They say 'I love you' every time they hang up the phone. Even men. Even to other men." (Taxi driver, 61)
8. "A stranger told me she liked my shoes. Then she just walked away. She didn't want anything." (High school girl, 16)
7. "They thank the bus driver when they get off." (Bus driver, 55. He got emotional saying this.)
6. "They tell you their whole life story in the grocery line. I know about one man's divorce, his boat, and his knee surgery. We knew each other for four minutes." (My mother, 64)
5. "They stand for the anthem at a children's baseball game." (Little League coach, 47)
4. "When they lose, they shake hands and say 'good game.' And they mean it." (Sota, 12)
3. "They fly the flag on a regular Tuesday. No holiday. Just because." (Nurse, 28)
2. "They help a stranger push a car out of the snow, then leave without saying their name." (My cousin's husband, 52, who got stuck in Colorado once)
And the number one answer came from the oldest person I asked. My grandfather. He's 91.
He thought about it for a long time.
Then he said:
"They still believe tomorrow will be better than today."
I asked him what he meant.
"In 1946, we had nothing," he said. "The American soldiers I met were young and far from home. But they acted like the future was coming, and it was going to be good. After a while, we started to believe them."
I asked him if he thought Americans still believe that.
He nodded slowly.
"Tell them," he said, "not to stop."
My best friend is an attorney and charges $900 an hour to fill in brackets on documents his firm wrote in 2007.
Bills 12 hours a day.
Still finds time to send me 5 tweets and 2 fantasy football trades before lunch.
I’ve known him for 20 years. Never seen him unavailable.
Invited my family over for Halloween tomorrow. Apparently it’s already October. Some of us have shareholder value to deliver.
Thinking about dressing up as Claude.
Want him to know what fear feels like.

Keith Ellison's OWN fraud agents served federal search warrants with the FBI this morning.
Ellison is Minnesota's attorney general. In June JD Vance referred him and Governor Tim Walz to the Justice Department for a criminal fraud investigation, after the House Oversight Committee found the two of them knew about the fraud for years and "repeatedly failed to act." The committee's figure for Medicaid money lost or at serious risk: nine billion dollars.
Ellison called the referral a "political stunt."
The team across the Twin Cities today: the FBI, the Health and Human Services inspector general, postal inspectors, IRS criminal investigators, the state's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and the Minnesota Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. That last one works out of Ellison's office, and Washington pays three quarters of its budget.
Yesterday a federal judge gave the architect of Feeding Our Future, the $250 million child meals fraud, thirty years.
Tomorrow the Vice President holds a press conference in St. Cloud on what the White House calls the War on Fraud.
Stunts do not come with search warrants. 💎
From a War Department official:
“Army Lieutenant General Brett Sylvia, who was part of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was fired by Secretary Hegseth for severe misconduct. Although Sylvia’s title was director of the Directorate for Strategy, Plans, and Policy at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, known inside the military as the J5, he was NOT a central planner for the Iran War. That is the responsibility of CENTCOM and its commander Admiral Cooper.
Sylvia is the subject of an investigation for leaking classified information about the Iran War, the war between Russia and Ukraine, and more. Due to the Pentagon’s media policy requiring journalists to have escorts in the building, Sylvia began meeting with journalists outside of the Pentagon in order to leak classified information.
Sylvia failed three polygraphs which questioned him about leaking classified information. The investigation into him remains ongoing and has been referred to the Department of Justice for further action. The extent of his leaking became so critical that Secretary Hegseth took immediate action and fired Sylvia in order to protect national security. Urgent action was needed and could not wait another second.”
Picture selling your house to live on a cruise ship for the next 15 years. Two years in, the ship docks in Cambodia and the company tells everyone to get off.
That just happened to about 200 people. And at today's fuel prices, the $120,000 they paid for a cabin covers as little as 15 months of fuel.
The ship is the Villa Vie Odyssey. It was built in 1993, sat in storage through Covid, and a Florida startup bought it for about $13 million. Their pitch was simple. You buy your cabin up front, starting around $120,000, you pay a monthly fee starting at $1,750 a person, and the ship sails around the world nonstop for 15 years.
The trouble started way before anything went wrong. The company says fuel was running about $1,800 per cabin per month before this year. So someone living alone in a cheap cabin was paying less each month than it cost just to fuel the average cabin, and that's before you feed anybody, pay 156 crew, or fix anything on a 33-year-old ship.
Then the Iran war kicked off in February and fuel went through the roof. In parts of Asia the company says it's now $6,000 to $8,000 per cabin per month.
And it gets worse, because a ship burns about the same fuel whether it's packed or half empty. The Odyssey can hold 650 passengers. It pulled into Cambodia with 203 on board, so the fuel for all those empty cabins was getting covered by the people who actually showed up.
If you were on the ship, you could probably feel it coming. One resident told the AP they'd been hit up for fuel money every two to four weeks. When a company that sold you a fixed price starts passing the hat that often, it's usually running out of road.
Now the company says it'll spend 60 days working on a "restructuring and recapitalization." If you paid six figures up front for years of service that just stopped, that phrase should worry you, because people who prepaid usually end up near the back of the line behind the lenders.
Most of these folks were promised 15 years on that ship, and they got a little over two.
Boss man wants a trick-or-treat route by Friday
Junior and his sister
One pillowcase each
Two hours
One street with sidewalks
I surveyed the neighborhood on the walk in
Every house falls into one of eight categories
Table attached
The full size bar house is the whole night
One stop equals four fun size houses
Every kid in town knows the address
Gone by 7:15
The route starts there or it does not matter where it starts
The raisin house is not a scam
It is a nutrition policy
Nobody voted for it
The dentist hands out toothbrushes
Lowest yield on the street
Highest return over ten years
The haunted garage costs four minutes a kid
Junior’s sister wants to go twice
That is a budget conversation
The full can soda house is generous
And heavy
By the third can the pillowcase is a liability
Final route
Full size first
Fun size bowls in the middle
Dentist last so it is the last thing they remember
Raisin house cut
Boss man added it back
He said every portfolio needs one asset nobody wants

He registered to vote in Los Angeles County in 2021.
He voted in 2022. He voted again in 2024.
Then he applied for citizenship and swore under penalty of perjury that he had NEVER registered to vote in any election in the United States.
Wednesday a federal grand jury indicted him for it.
His name is Butleng Taing, 43, a Cambodian national in Long Beach on a green card. On his Form N-400, the citizenship application, he declared he "had never claimed to be a United States citizen in any way." He had. Under oath. The day he registered.
Two more Los Angeles County green card holders were indicted with him Wednesday, Sulema De Leon from Mexico and Rouzbeh Seyamaknejad from Canada. Same form. Same lie.
Los Angeles County's Registrar told a federal judge this month, in a sworn declaration, that it "is not equipped or authorized to verify voter citizenship" beyond what the voter attests. It takes your word for it.
Two governments asked them about citizenship. They gave each one a different answer, and both answers were under oath.

Today on Earth, at least 68 people were killed and 80 injured when a high-speed train struck a stationary train south of Madrid. Several carriages derailed and plunged down an embankment. Spain’s transport minister said a computer failure stopped traffic, but the train was then mistakenly authorized to proceed despite an active red signal. Rescuers continued searching the wreckage as Spain began three days of mourning.
The United States warned Middle Eastern allies to prepare for possible renewed strikes against Iran after the November 3 midterm elections, and for Iranian retaliation against energy facilities and other critical infrastructure. President Trump has not made a final decision. Meanwhile, Qatari mediators presented Tehran with a proposed seven-day sequence of steps intended to end the eight-month war. An Iranian official said the ideas were unacceptable and did not constitute a formal offer.

A six-day ceasefire around the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Oleshky held through its first 30 hours. The truce is intended to deliver food, water and medicine to approximately 2,000 residents and evacuate those who want to leave. Fighting continued elsewhere; a Russian drone strike wounded five people in Kharkiv, including a child, while Russia claimed it intercepted 531 Ukrainian drones.
Protest movements involving students, unions and anti-government groups continued across Europe. Thousands of shops in France have been damaged or looted during recent unrest; demonstrations in Italy, Belgium and Albania have also turned violent, and another major protest is planned in Germany this weekend.
The grievances may be real. The shopkeepers whose stores were looted did not write the pension system.
Cyclone Arnab struck India’s eastern coast, killing at least three people, damaging or destroying approximately 180 homes and uprooting hundreds of trees. More than 180,000 people were evacuated across Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
President Vladimir Putin hosted leaders and delegations from 48 African countries at the Russia-Africa Summit in Moscow. Putin accused Western nations of using debt and their colonial legacy to exploit Africa while offering Russian cooperation in security, energy, agriculture, mining and infrastructure. Russian paramilitary forces remain active across several African countries.
The Federal Reserve kept its benchmark interest rate between 3.75% and 4%, saying economic growth remained strong but inflation was still elevated. Two policymakers voted for an immediate quarter-point increase, while markets placed approximately an 80% probability on a rate increase in December.
Inflation remains elevated, rates remain unchanged, and the official response is to accumulate more information. Groceries continue accepting cash.
Brazilian stocks fell nearly 3% as investors awaited President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s cabinet choices following his reelection. The Brazilian real also weakened after suffering its largest one-day decline since 1999 earlier this week.

but there is a massive shift happening in human biology right now.
it's sitting in press releases and almost nobody reads them
the last 6 months alone:
- a once-daily pill roughly doubled median survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer (13.2 vs 6.6 months)
- a one-time gene editing infusion cut hereditary angioedema attacks 87%, and 62% of patients stayed attack-free and off all other prevention for 6 months
- a one-time gene edit for cholesterol dropped LDL up to 62%, and it held for over a year
- a personalized mrna vaccine beat keytruda alone in a 1,137 patient melanoma phase 3
- retatrutide hit ~28% weight loss in a phase 3
- an ai-designed drug entered phase 3
- a pill that regrows hair passed its second phase 3
- an immunotherapy that could let some rectal cancer patients skip surgery, chemo and radiation just got fda approved
- a man lived 271 days off dialysis on a pig kidney
- human cells were caught passing chromosome-sized chunks of DNA to their neighbors, and it changes how the neighbors behave
we are on the verge of an era where the human body is a software problem and the update cycle gets shorter everyday
stick around, it's going to get weird
