Update: I took her to Dollarama where she bought a balloon and a card and a tea set for her doll and we made her a mug cake with a candle in it. Here she is reading the card to her doll I’m crying 🥹
5yo is upset at me because I ruined her doll’s birthday party by not coming to it (I didn’t find out until it was over) and her (doll) birthday only happens every 28 years so now we can’t have another party until she (5yo) is 12.
Oh you want to change plans? Do something completely different than the logistics I’ve envisioned & as such cemented in my head? Sure that’s fine. I can be normal about that. Please excuse me for 10 minutes. If you hear screaming it is unrelated
I have been waiting for 3 hours so far at the IWK to waste time and healthcare resources because our daycare needs two notes to prove that my youngest’s skin condition is not chickenpox.
@ThatDogRunner So obnoxious. I tried our GP (booking 8 weeks from now) and Maple (won’t touch it), so here we are.
The other option was a walk-in, but at least here I know that the kids who are actually sick/hurt will be seen first.
