Great writeup. Really must attend next year when itโs twice as busy and twice the price ๐
Iโve been to a lot of events like this (in the UK, not in the US) and itโs frustrating how many panellists and experts are selected to be heard not because of their experience with AI but because of their opinions on it. The thoughts of an exec who green-lit a series using AI is thought to have more to offer than the person who led the team who actually did it.
I think part of the reason is that AI practitioners are though (read: misunderstood) to be too over-enthusiastic about the tech (we can blame the social media dopamine rush every time a new model is released for that). Consequently, an old movie industry veteran is perceived to have a more realistic take when, in fact, a good AI artist will happily tell you everything that itโs shit at.
Anyway, sounds like the event to keep a close eye on. Thanks for the thoughts.
Invideo has gifted me access to their platform to go absolutely wild with this agent. It's good timing, because I've been thinking about agents *a lot*.
Creatives tend to balk at the idea of "AI doing the work" but there will come a time when 'speed of AI' will become the norm. When that day comes we need to know exactly how to deploy agents for efficiency while retaining maximum creative control.
I will report back ... ๐ฅท
For a serious performance marketer, finding a winning ad isn't the hardest part. Itโs the part where you try to replicate and scale it across all your products without changing anything else.
So we built a workflow inside Agent One to scale one winning ad across 100+ products. Here's the step-by-step tutorial on how we did it.
Time, cost, exact steps are all in the ๐งต
The disconnect is often in the gap between what a film is and what a film looks like. Like piling some bricks on top of each other in the shape of a house โฆ and calling it a house.
I think weโll see a change over the next six months as the people who already know how to build a house get more engaged and involved with AI.
The rest will be natural selection โฆ
Whatโs going on with the YouTube AIpocalyse? Iโm seeing so many AI filmmakers, tutorial makers being demonitised and accused of making automated content?!
@BLVCKLIGHTai This is spot on.
โThe creators who recognize this and do something about it now are not working harder than everyone else. They are working toward something everyone else is accidentally working away from.โ
Truth!
@Diesol If you ever come to London, look us up. There's a quiet revolution happening in the unscripted space ... people who could not ordinarily afford to do things, now doing them and gradually - and I mean gradually - AI is becoming normalised. Scripted is slower (too many unions).
Well, that was a turn-up for the books! Thank you for the invite, Dreamina!
Iโve had the chance to play with Seedance 2 over the last couple of days and can confirm that it is, indeed, a beast.
I will have something crazy to share shortly. Either way, Iโm locked and loaded.
