First, Vivek Ramaswamy called Ohioans lazy and mediocre. Now, he urges Ohioans who are struggling with the cost of living not to wallow in “envy, jealousy, and bitterness” over his billions of dollars.

That kind of contempt is prevalent throughout EVERY SINGLE local chapter of the Republican Party, ladies and gentlemen.

It is time to face this fact.

What @ScottPresler--an absolute HERO in my book--just exposed here was what said contempt looks like, with South Dakotan characteristics.

It's REALLY bad here in New York, too.

Local GOP chapters have NO incentive to win elections because they take in MASSIVE amounts of money, and end up hoarding it for races they deem as "winnable." They cut containment deals with Democrats in blue states, making it look like their stopping the spread of Communism from the major metros.

Stories abound of viable candidates here in NY being asked basically to be the next loser to whoever the dominant Democrat is. Bruce Blakeman (@NassauExec) is only running for Governor so he can hedge his power on Long Island, running a campaign with all the charisma and energy of a field mouse.

Local Republicans are more afraid of the Democrat Party Machine and the animals they've employed as their enforcers, than they are of their voters and their donors.

Forget about Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens or Nick Fuentes for a second; THIS is what the Woke Right ACTUALLY looks like in praxis.

The three mentioned above are paid to turn public opinion AGAINST Trump, and maintain a performative status quo.

Assholes like the ones Presler had to deal with are the ones who make sure you NEVER get a candidate who will END said performative status quo.

I recently voted to require that Ohioans show photo ID when voting by mail just as they already have to do when voting in person. Democrats claimed this would harm “Granny & Papaw.” I gave the closing argument on the House floor explaining why that’s absurd.

Every time Republicans improve election integrity, Democrats predict the end of democracy, and then Ohioans make them look silly.

It’s a shame the Governor bought the arguments of left-wing activists - again - in vetoing this important bill.
