Our very first scam website is MinerGPT. They claim to offer cloud mining for bitcoin with daily withdrawals. When you sign up for a plan, your miner immediately starts earning bitcoin. Here’s the catch:

This is a scam. They do not have any miners, they have no partnerships with anyone they claim to, and they are actually located in china, not in the UK as they claim.

When you send them the electricity fee, they inform you that the payment company froze your funds due to irregularities, and they require you to resend the electricity payment to unlock your funds and they’ll be returned to you.

🧵2/5 When you attempt to withdraw your profits, the withdrawal fails and your miner is stopped. After you contact their support team, they inform you that you must pay for the years worth of electricity, then your miner will automatically restart and you can withdraw profits
