Lee Westwood made 590 starts on the European Tour over 30 years, winning 25 times. Hosted the British Masters twice. Was on 11 Ryder Cup sides, including 7 wins. Won the OOM 3 times and player of the year title 4 times. He spent 22 weeks as world number 1, while still doing everything to support the tour and is an honorary life member. I can’t believe I’m seeing people question his loyalty.
He’s not disloyal just because the current leadership made it untenable for him to continue membership for playing golf somewhere that the PGA Tour doesn’t like.
The way some people act over LIV is absolutely embarrassing but this one is just shameful.
Lee Westwood is a European golf legend!
I'm not sure we have properly appreciated that Rory is basically a CEO ...
• Whipping votes
• Billion-dollar decks
• Seven-hour executive meetings
... while also performing as one of the three best golfers on the planet.
Truly absurd.
LIV Golf has its first presenting sponsor. The event at Serapong Golf Course on April 28-30 will be called:

Frank Nobilo: "We hear that phrase 'grow the game.' I'm sort of sick of it to be honest. In my opinion there's only three people who have grown the game: Arnold Palmer, Ballesteros and Tiger Woods. But from a professional point of view, no one has put more money in his fellow professionals' pockets than Tiger Woods."
