@PhantomOpera@SydOperaHouse Hope you are using the full 27 piece orchestra as per the original London production until the orchestra was axed in half and key instruments removed when it reopened in July 2021 ๐
@OfficialALW@PhantomOpera Well ALW you would say that wouldnโt you about the orchestra, justifying your actions of reducing it to only 14 players. Removing the harp, percussion, trumpets and oboe all doubt now played on keyboards.
@mcdperc_matt@OfficialALW@PhantomOpera@phantomorch Yes Sarah the harp got the boot on Phantom, when it opens next week there is no harp, percussion, trumpets and oboe. I assume all the harp sounds will now be on keyboards ๐
@itvnews@OfficialALW He cares about the โsmall peopleโ Really? Didnโt care about the small people in the Phantom band when he made us all redundant, called us stale and reduced the band by 13 players and totally got rid of the harp, percussion, trumpets and oboe, shame on you ALW
Very sad that the percussion will be on synthesisers from now on, it couldn't possibly sound as live and vibrant without Matt @mcdperc_matt. You were another amazing asset to the orchestra, thank you. At least the Phantom will be punting in time!
There cannot be any replacement for the beauty of seeing and hearing our live harp and harpist, Ruth. It has been such a pleasure and privilege to have played Phantom together. There is nothing to match the magic of your harp, you will be sorely missed. ๐ข
@phantomorch Away I sail to join my wonderful colleagues. I am heart broken at the loss of the last remaining harp chair in the West End, doubling with kettle boiling, things will never be the same ๐ฅฒ
"Stay safe, that's all we ask of you." The entire orchestra at #PhantomLondon have recorded this beautiful video response for @OfficialALW to show their support from isolation.
Lovely wedding fair today at Hedingham Castle, the harp sounded amazing in the drawing room alongside other fabulous wedding exhibitors - @HedinghamCastle
@LBC Steve put a 1p piece or apparently a little blue tablet in the water with the tulips and they will stay upright for days! Btw still listening from the Maldives. Ruth and Dean
