Situations like this is why I don’t even bother with Google Docs written to expose people anymore. I don’t even waste my time. I’m just going to be blunt here but you’ll notice that almost every Google Doc is written by a child or someone chronically online. That’s because grown ass adults have enough life experience to realize that if you truly want justice, then you’ll call a lawyer and handle the situation in a court of law. Nobody has ever been arrested or convicted because someone released a Google Doc on them.

Any grown adult also knows that the very last thing you should do if you’re serious about delivering justice is post about it online. The very first thing any lawyer will tell you is to shut up and let them do their job. Don’t say anything. Because anything you say and do can and will be used in court. And if even one single detail is out of place or out of line you could be screwed.

I don’t think kids in this community realize how much potential legal trouble they’re putting themselves in by doing stuff like this. In the MiniToon situation, he could have easily just had his lawyers subpoena Twitter, get the burner accounts personal info, then send them a lawsuit in the mail suing them and forcing a court battle. A lot of people like to use the minor card on Twitter, but that doesn’t matter in the real world. Whoever wrote and publicized that document would have been publicly named in a public lawsuit and forced to defend their position in court. If they’re underage, then their parents get pulled into it as well. And if you lose then not only are you paying thousands and thousands of dollars but it’s also permanently on your record and any potential employers will find it in a background check. Basically you just screwed yourself, and if you’re a minor, you screwed your family too. And all it takes to lose is a few details being wrong in a 100 page Google Doc.

A lot of people say well ‘lawyers are expensive’, but they don’t realize that if the situation goes to court then you’re going to be paying for a lawyer either way and also even more should you lose the case.

And I’m not defending anyone. This is just the reality of how the real world works. If someone did something bad and you have evidence of it, then you need to contact the proper authorities. Unfortunately the Google Doc method has become a charade and mockery of itself. Call me when someone gets convicted, but until then, don’t waste my time with Google Docs.

This is just my opinion, but the fact that MiniToon said that he wants to move this situation to court and then the burner account decided to brush off the question by instead blaming him of other things, suggests to me that the expose account was just there to tarnish MiniToon’s reputation on the internet rather than actually caring about victims or justice. If this was truly a serious situation about him, it should 100% be brought to a court of law instead of being fought for on the internet.

The thing with being online is that so many bad people are extremely performative and love to act like they are morally superior to others. This happens ALL THE TIME, EVERYWHERE YOU GO, AND IN EVERY COMMUNITY IN THE ROBLOX SPACE.

I do believe that supporting victims are important, however in some cases the “victim” ends up being the perpetrator while the “perpetrator” ends up being the victim. We’ve seen this happen in this situation as well as many others like the Pressure drama (I think that’s what happened there as well but I could be wrong), Kwite’s situation and many more.

This is exactly why situations should never be brought onto the internet unless 1) the “perpetrator” is found guilty in a court of law or 2) there is 100% certain evidence that the perpetrator is a criminal (e.g. pdf) or has done something truly deplorable. The reason why I say that last part is because, funnily enough, in some situations, the stuff the “perpetrator” is being accused of ends up being a complete nothing burger, yet it is made to seem as such a big deal while gaining the attention of thousands of impressionable young people on the internet, some of which end up harassing the “perpetrator” and ruining their lives over it. (Not saying this happened word-for-word in MiniToon’s case, but this is an important general point.)

Cancel culture and taking joy in exposing others and ruining the lives over false/baseless/petty drama is appalling behaviour from our generation, and we should be ashamed of ourselves for even encouraging it. People who knowingly and willingly make documents to deliberately tarnish the reputation of others that were truly victims, or supposed “perpetrators” who have done nothing wrong to the extent that a life-ruining document is necessary, need to be held accountable and punished by the internet.

I’m so glad I never stopped playing and supporting Intercity. Justice for MiniToon!!
