Happy World Kindness Day!

Radical kindness is going beyond situational niceness. Assuming the best of everyone and practicing radical kindness takes guts, self confidence and perspective. It’s not for the faint of heart!

What acts of kindness will you do today?
We are joining Compassion it and signed up for their 30-Day Compassion It Challenge, and would love for you to join us! It's a simple and FREE month-long program in October that encourages us to bring mindfulness and compassion into our daily lives.

with it being national suicide prevention week... please remember to love and be kynd to yourself. talk to someone whether it be someone you know, a counselor, or a hotline. and if someone reaches out to you, be kynd and show them compassion. you are loved #livekyndly#selflove
If you can say your position within a second of someone expressing theirs, that means you aren’t listening or trying to understand.we don’t need to be defensive or to be right.let someone else speak.listen, try not to respond until you take it in, feel some empathy, ask questions
with school kicking into gear show kyndness... promote your students to reach out to struggling ones, teach your kids about the bully prevention, and most of all give a smile to someone you pass in the hall-could brighten their day

with our country being in mourning right now, think of what kynd thing you can do for someone. and if you are one of the many mourning, our hearts are with you. take time for yourself and process this in the healthiest way you can
create a daily mindful routine to allow yourself to rid your mind of negativity, reflect on your joys, and prepare yourself physically/mentally for the day. take time for you, be kynd to yourself #selfcare#MentalHealthMatters#treatyourself#livekyndly
Ships don’t sink because of the water around them. They sink because of the water that gets in them. Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside your head and weigh you down. Surround yourself with people who will lift you up and be a preserver when you feel yourself sinking
To our future, it’s time to break the generational curse. When they say, “welcome to the real world,” “this is the way it’s always been done,” “it will never change,” “It runs in the family” you tell them, “This is where it runs out!” be the change we ALL wish to see in the world
The book Radical Kindness by @angelasclues teaches us that there is a stress that comes from judging or trying to control others. It ages us and drains us of energy. Our secret fountain of youth, choose kindness. Let that crap go! Stop judging and start loving. #livekyndly
50 years ago, history was written at the Stonewall Inn when New York's LGBT community stood up, spoke out, and started a movement. In 2016 I was proud to designate it as a national monument—a reminder the arc of our history is an arc of progress as long as we keep pushing for it.
