Today we celebrated weeks of planning, writing, revising, editing, publishing, and a lot of hard work! These 2nd graders worked hard to create their own picture books, so we read them to a kindergarten and 1st grade class. They were so proud and so was I! @tegacaytitans

These littles are working so hard on their realistic fiction writing! We are almost done with drafting then it is onto editing and revising… then finally publishing. They are so excited about seeing the end result @tegacaytitans

We went on a measuring hunt… trying to measure the feet of an object then measure the same object using inches. We found things around the school! We learned that 1foot = 12 inches, so to find inches we just do repeated addition! Math made fun! @tegacaytitans

My little writers are so engaged! We are writing our introduction to get our reader hooked 🪝 when you have a love for writing, they gain a love for writing! Way to go young authors! @tegacaytitans #writinginroom109
