Five JKUAT law students have qualified to represent the University at the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition after finishing as runners-up in Kenya’s highly competitive national rounds held at Mount Kenya University Parklands Law Campus.
Dennis Kaboro, Sewe James Phillip Goroh, Clarice Neema Naseka, Tatiana Bett Cherono, and Mike Marc Kipchirchir, all third-year students at @karen_jkuat Law Campus, advanced to the global stage after ranking among the top performers in one of the world’s most rigorous legal simulations.
Meanwhile, Tracy Mbaya, John Charles, and Allan Mwangi also made their mark in the National Qualifier Rounds of the Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. The team finished second runners-up in the national finals held virtually at African Nazarene University, earning qualification to the international rounds at Stetson University. ^DP
