@AnythingLFC_@NicoSchira Having had the best in the business for nearly 10 years, whoever comes in to replace Alisson is a downgrade. I don’t think Mamardashvili is the man to fill his boots so would take any good offers. I liked the look of the Sunderland keeper when I saw him. Might be worth a punt.
@BelieveInKlopp I think they both could’ve stayed for another year under the circumstances. We now need a new starting left back and right attacker. That’s going to cost £100m plus.
@KevinKathurima@AnfieldEdition He broke his leg in December. He must’ve missed at least 20 matches there. Isak cost more because he was premier league proven playing for a cash rich club. He scored 21 and 23 in the last 2 seasons and averages 25 league games per season. That’s not highly injury prone.
@AnfieldEdition Best player - Szoboszlai
Worst player - Konate
Best moment - Szoboszlai free kicks
Worst moment - Isak breaking his leg
Best signing Ekitike, but will be Wirtz
Worst signing - Frimpong (should have signed a RB)
Overall rating 5/10. Absolute bare minimum achieved.
@KevinKathurima@AnfieldEdition Isak has 57 goals in 100 matches in the premier league and Gyokeres has 14 goals in 36 matches. That’s why Isak cost more
@rivjfnekzkfjrns@AnfieldEdition You can’t judge a new signing in one season. Even someone as good as Suarez took 18 months to get to his best. If by the end of next season they’re not clicking, then I agree. Wirtz did look very good in December and January and then got injured.
@lfcoh1 @FtblVax If I’m honest I really don’t enjoy the ride of winning the league. Even when you’re 15 points clear with 10 games to go, you struggle to see where the remaining points are coming from. It’s stressful.
