@realEstateTrent Why do you assume it’s a fire sale? Seems like broker is saying, once kids get it, they will sell it to avoid the capital gains tax issues. If they agree to doing that and market the property properly, they should be able to get market value
"The shameless will inherit the earth."
When it comes to marketing and publicity, you don't just want to make it possible for people to hear about you. you want to make it impossible for them to be ignorant of you.
"That's what Carnegie was. That's what Steve Jobs was. All these people who do a little too much, they're just shameless about it, right? They don't care that they go a little too far. They're always willing to pull it back."
@datguyluka@moseskagan@SouthernMB82 Strange question
1) maybe he does have investments in India
2) maybe he prefers living in the US and doing business here
3) maybe the risk/return profile is better
Doesn’t matter. The attacks being started by the OP solely based on origin/ethnicity are wrong
@GlobeFarrah@moseskagan Didn’t see the word meaningless - I read it as more about growth and change one experiences as a parent. And being a parent doesn’t need to mean having biological kids
@theshivpat He’s gonna get a bunch of 7 footers (that are otherwise mid) paid. GM’s of playoff teams going to be factoring him in when filling roster spot 14/15
@therealmattcox4@SimpleCRE Most of these syndications never made sense. Their business plan relied on Interest only loans where the principal is never paid down. As soon as you start amortizing the loan, you’re cash flow negative. That seems like a game of hot potato.
@realEstateTrent Big trait amongst highly successful people. Either genuinely curious or good at extracting information without divulging much if at all
@BadlandsTOJ@ConnorJRogers@JCaporoso The other thing to consider is that the other QB needy teams don’t have the draft capital that the Jets do so bidding a 3rd round pick and potentially forcing them to bid 2nd rd really takes them out of the QB convo in 2027. Less competition for top QBs in 2027
@recostseg But if it appraises for $750,000 then it’s probably worth $750,000 so you’re giving up $750,000 minus whatever you’d save in taxes+pay in taxes on the sale. Still seems like you’re walking away from 6 figures
@KobeissiLetter It’s not terrible for the US - it’s terrible for the world and for IRAN. US is a net oil exporter - more money for the oil they ship out when the strait is closed. Bad for US consumers but for the country as a whole- manageable
