The Parker Police Department says a man has been found guilty of sexual assault. According to PPD, Aaron Carrado was the owner and a trainer at the Strength in Christ gym which was first located in Centennial and then in Parker.

Carrado was accused of grooming and sexually assaulting two young athletes at the gym. The victims were 15 and 16 at the time. Last week, a Douglas County jury found Carrado guilty on 12 charges.

The charges include six counts of Sexual Assault on Child – Position of Trust – Pattern, two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child – Possession, three counts of Third-Degree Assault, and one count of Sexual Assault – No Consent.

The case started after Carrado’s ex-wife found disturbing notes and social media messages. She alerted authorities. Carrado fled Colorado and was ultimately arrested in Montana in 2022. Carrado will be sentenced on November 13 at which time he’ll face eight years to life in prison.

@WellsFargo denying a legitimate fraud claim since 12/9. Our online banking was compromised & $400 was removed via Zelle. This was not our doing & he’s never used Zelle! 100% fraud! We’re victims being treated as criminals. Legal action may be necessary ASAP!
