@MrsGlazebrook I have them on the board on little flip charts made for each subject but we also say them two times together at the beginning of lessons.. “I can..” then we say “we can..” and we do actions to them!
The first day of school always gives me some nervous energy. I read this book to my class and then we share “Jitter Juice” together. (Sprite and juice mixed) What’s something special you do on the first day of school?!
Addressing the teacher shortage shouldn't involve lowering criteria to be a teacher--it should involve supporting teachers, paying them, and providing the resources needed to best serve students.
@MistyAd99545913 I also read one titled “Why I will never pay for a jean day again!” I also liked that perspective. I’m not a fan of having to earn or pay for them! (Unless you are paying for it to go to a cause of some sort or something like that!)
@taylor98v I’m not sure if they can if they bought the school version, but I just pay for it on my own because I love it! We have to turn our plans in every week on a google classroom so that’s how they see our plans!
Here is a link to my screen casting video! I made it as an introduction for my students on who I am and familiar faces they will see around school! #552bobcat

If you have Reading A-Z, let students pick out a book at their level they are interested in and print it out for them! This is how I got one student hooked on reading!
