Did you know laptop deliveries require ID? I can pay for it without ID. I just can't receive it. Driving to BestBuy is an option. After all, I have a valid driver’s license. But I won't… bc a #stateless person without a license wouldn’t have that option.

Went to the pharmacy this morning. Meds were ready, as was a request for ID. Thought about it a moment then declined. Why? Because a #stateless person who’s not recognized by any gov’t wouldn’t have that choice… and that’s the whole point of this experiment.

Turns out I can switch the prescription to mail order—no ID req’d. But that choice only exists because I'm already recognized elsewhere in the system. Having documented ID doesn't just open doors. It creates a back door when another one closes. #statelessness
