@qatarairways, I’m genuinely surprised by this response.

Doha → Abu Dhabi last week. My American Tourister suitcase was damaged while in the airline/airport handling process. I reported it immediately after landing at Abu Dhabi Airport.

4 days later: claim rejected because the damage was classified as “minor.”

But the obvious question is: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO A PASSENGER’S BAGGAGE?

Whether the damage is minor or major, it was not present when I handed over my luggage.
