It's time for the Governor to call an emergency special session on data center reform. The Lt. Governor should back him up. Thanks for directing ERCOT and PUCT to protect our energy rates, but those affected by the abuses of the data center industry -- cannot wait until the 2027 regular session.
Proud to be part of the pushback on public subsidies for big tech, including SpaceX. Wake up big tech and data centers. Don't kill the golden goose we all depend on. The world is watching Texas -- including 8 million independents.

Another tax giveaway by an all Republican TX Commissioners Court in defiance of @TexasGOP platform plank #78. Read my latest blog post about Bastrop County's latest giveaway. https://t.co/ZTuZ8AcCTk
@elonmusk are you aware this is being done in your name? I thought you disavowed any more gov't subsidies.
Every time a business gets an abatement, other taxpayers pick up a larger piece of the taxes due. There are no abatements for residential property taxpayers.
And, in a blatantly insensitive move, they scheduled the public hearing tomorrow, election day. Any patriot working the election cannot express their opinion at the meeting. Shameful. @GovAbbott_TX@StanGerdesforTX@DrindaRandall@abrahamgeorge
Stupid is not an excuse for subsidizing SpaceX, but this is what the all-Republican Bastrop Commissioners Court is planning for taxpayers on Tuesday. Nope dopes!
I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half.
Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.
Check out the Texas GOP Platform 78 and yet the Governor and Bastrop Commissioners Court (all Republicans) are set to throw big subsidies to Elon Musk's Space X. And, yes with know many big city Dems love subsidies:
Opposition to Market-Distorting Tax and Fiscal Subsidies 78, Texas GOP Platform:
No Corporate Welfare: We encourage government to divest its ownership of all businesses that should be run in the private sector. We oppose all bailouts of and subsidies to domestic and foreign government entities, states, and for all businesses, public and private. We agree with the Texas Constitution’s requirement for fair and uniform taxation and oppose special treatment or tax breaks for favored industries or companies. We call for repeal or sunset of existing subsidy or special-interest tax exemptions, including the Special Events Trust Fund program, the Texas Enterprise Fund, Moving Image Industry Incentive Program, and lab-grown meat incentives, and now request repeal of Chapter 403.601 of the Texas Tax Code. Tax dollars shall not be used to fund the building of stadiums for professional or semi-professional sports teams, unless otherwise approved by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of those voting and only if 20% of all registered voters in the district cast ballots.

Thank you for your attention to this matter! TX GOP Platform: "We call for repeal or sunset of existing subsidy or special-interest tax exemptions, including the Special Events Trust Fund program, the Texas Enterprise Fund." -- corporate dudes, sink or swim on your own dime aka free markets, end corporate welfare:
Republican Congressman Thomas Massie reveals what many suspected: Trump vetoed a bipartisan clean drinking water project in Rep. Lauren Boebert’s district after she backed a petition to release the Epstein files.
After the veto back in December, Boebert strongly criticized Trump, saying:
“I sincerely hope this veto has nothing to do with political retaliation for calling out corruption and demanding accountability.”
“Nothing says ‘America First’ like denying clean drinking water to 50,000 people in Southeast Colorado.”
In any normal country, a president who did something like this would be forced to resign.
We cannot normalize this corruption.
Impeach!
High summer electric bills are approaching...
We can now add sky high gasoline prices on top.
Americans are feeling the pressure of yet another Middle East war that has nothing to do with defending America.
Meanwhile, the president says that an oil price of $200 (i.e., double from the current price) would still be "worth it."
Worth it for who?
Watch @RonPaul & @ChrisRossini below:
I really don’t care about the UFO files.
I just don’t.
I’m so sick of the “look at the shiny object” propaganda while they wage foreign wars, let rapist and pedophiles run free, and ruin the value of our dollar.
Unless they roll out live aliens and test demo UFOs or actually admit what we know this really is then I have way better things to do on this Friday.
Susanna Ledesma-Woody is the real deal -- an independent Dem -- we support for Travis County Commissioners Court, Pct. 4 in a heated Dem primary runoff. There is no contest in November. Get it right, Travis County/Del Valle! Hop online tonight to meet her:
Targeting @RepThomasMassie is an egregious breach of the President’s promise to put Americans first. With a flood of dirty cash, Pres. Trump made this race a national referendum on self determination and the consent of the governed. We must now fight for Kentucky—nationally—in order to Rescue the Republic.
I’m donating to Massie’s campaign, and helping spread the word. I hope you will as well. We must draw a line—and hold it.

The last time debt hit these levels, America had just helped win a World War. What's our excuse today? Runaway spending. Bloated budgets. A uniparty that refuses to say no.
I've said no. I'll keep saying no. But I need Americans to demand better from their representatives.
