@DCI_Kenya Take note of how Uganda effectively utilizes their K-9 units to solve criminal puzzles esp. in rural regions. Uganda has an ambitious plan to expand its K-9 units across all districts
The police in Tororo, with the assistance of the K-9 unit, have arrested Loketo Musa, a resident of Malaba North Cell, Malaba Town Council, in connection to the murder of a woman identified as Rehema, a Kenyan national from Bungoma.
Preliminary investigations reveal that on 08/12/25, at approximately 0600 hours, community members in Malaba North Cell were shocked when they woke up to find the lifeless body of a female, lying in a pool of blood.
K-9 officer "Vegas" was introduced to the scene, where the body was found. The dog picked up a human scent and began tracking, passing through the corridors of several houses for a distance of approximately 100 meters. The trail led the officers to the suspect's bedroom.
Although the suspect was initially not found at home, he was later traced and arrested. A search was conducted in the presence of the area chairperson, during which bloodstains were discovered inside the suspect's room and even on the door of his room.
Additionally, quantities of dried marijuana were recovered from the suspect's room.
Exhibits, including blood samples, were collected.
I applaud Rwanda for working hard to tame the basics - security, road safety, cleanliness and order. The rest of East Africa need to take some serious lessons and inspiration, especially Kenya and Uganda.
The British were in Uganda for 68 years, and between 1920 and 1956 they tried to find petroleum but failed. They had noticed spills on the surface and assumed the oil had been there but evaporated. When the NRM came to power, we successfully discovered Uganda’s petroleum.- President Yoweri Museveni

People will adopt American and UK accents but dare you be a fan of afrosinema lingo and suddenly it’s cliche? Wahalla for who no get colonialist braincells
These are the products of minds that refuse to be Eurocentric.
These days you see even respected Yoruba Obas building Hellenistic-style palaces, and I shake my head.
You can only create architecture like this by believing in yourself and embracing your own essence, culture, and history, not by assuming that white Europeans are somehow superior.
If you accept that other people are inherently and culturally superior, you will always try to copy their templates, whether they fit your reality and context or not. You will never generate original, distinctive ideas of your own or improve on any of the legacies of your ancestors.
