I know it's obvious in hindsight:

There was a neae identical game from around 6m ago called Ape Game or something - I figured he either reskinned that or he was the actual dev and just relaunched when the meta was more fitting - I did tell my friend that 2 week lock is dodgy though, especially pairing with the fact that a very similar game had been launched before (with similar dev progress throughout).

Quite silly of him to kill the project though, even if it was reskinned or w/e. If the meta fits, it fits.

It's more frustrating than anything, getting shafted by small-minded devs.

Still left with +50 or so but could have been a lot more, had a gut feeling to derisk a little bit earlier today and luckily caught the dev sell candle within a minute of it happening and managed to get out

@HalesFall Although it does make me wonder, would it be the same playing field? MEV vs malicious approvals.

One, you're hunting for opportunities.

The other, you're setting a trap.

Then again, I guess the trap can't be set without an attacker in the first place.

@HalesFall Generally agree. MEV is a problem, but it's acting within a protocol's rules.

Never really had a problem with Jared, always found the whole setup quite genuis in fact. I didn't like his on-chain message though: imo he got played at his own game, needs to suck it up
