my professor finally graded my first paper which was a lifeboat problem (sinking ship has 26 passengers, the only sole surviving lifeboat can fit 8 people, who would you save to make it to the deserted island?) lowkey i’m scared bc at first i loved the prompt but by the time i finished writing my paper i was ready to rip my hair out and poke out my eyeballs. i just gave up and turned it in . and it was soooo long hahhahaha. i was so sick of it. well i guess i gotta rip off the bandaid and see how i did

here’s the people who were on the sinking ship btw. in case you want to know the eight people i saved here they are:
lifeguard, nurse, wheat farmer, botanist, carpenter, 13 year old set of twins and the english professor with great hair. last two picks were saved solely because off of their potential ability to inspire hope amongst the others lol

thank you so much i really appreciate your feedback :) you’re right, my choices don’t really matter that much. the point is just that i’m able to back up my picks just based off of my criteria hahahah. this is my first paper i’ve ever done for college and i haven’t written for school in like. uhhhh 10 years or more. im learning:)

you’re right i dont know much about any of these people or their jobs. i never claimed to be an expert about any of it!! this was just based off of what i already know/don’t know. this was not a research paper. i just followed my heart; everything in my paper is my opinion. you don’t have to agree with it. i’m really passionate about writing, i couldn’t say the same for brain surgery. i am open to constructive criticism, but if you’re gonna spend so long reading a paper that you find to be so “egregious” i would suggest maybe getting a life instead! :)

@PagesUnbound @JonghyunGal48 research was not required for this paper and was actually discouraged; professor just wanted us to go based off of our general understanding of all of these jobs and skillsets and what not. i don’t know everything and never claimed to!! thanks for being nice about it :)
