It's important to know that Ontario is losing 175 acres of farmland a day. Only 5% of Canada's landbase is arable and only of .5% is Class 1 and 2 soils. Most of that is here is Southern Ontario. The loss of 175 acres of agriculture land a day in this Province is not sustainable.

Can Regional Chair Caslin, or any other of our elected Regional Councillors, please explain why CAO Carmen D'Angelo has any say about who is hired to investigate his OWN hiring? Why did he get to sit in on the council meeting and the closed-door session where it was discussed?

Take a look at who voted for Carmen D'Angelo to be Chief Administration Officer for Niagara Region. This shot of the screen in Regional Council Chambers at the time of the vote pretty clearly separates the good Regional Councillors from the bad ones.
