Out now in @NIBjournal: our bold effort to reimagine the way we doctor, to give patients words to articulate their experiences of at times unspeakable suffering from illness. We reviewed 52 literary works to capture clinically useful figurative language https://t.co/9MRMI5i0x8
There are no words for the loss and shock our CHOP family is feeling. Barbara embodied the best of all of us. Her memory will live on in each of us whose lives she touched.
Please keep her loved ones in your thoughts

Thrilled to announce our collaboration with @DenverHealthMed & @Revision_Coop to launch our first Produce Rx project for families living in SW Denver! This weekly program empowers patients facing food insecurity to access fresh fruits & veggies right outside their medical home.
A beautiful piece written by Dr. @JRandallCurtis1's family about his last days and medical aid in dying.
He is so missed at @uwpccm and in the #PCCM community ❤️

Our Med-Peds clinic at Peña Family Health Center, a FQHC @DenverHealthMed medical home in SW Denver, recently received grant funding to start a community garden alongside our patients and community partners @Revision_Coop 👩🏽🌾🥬🥦🌶️🥕🪴🍉 #medpeds#MP4L
Finished intern year. 6 months in pediatrics, 6 months in internal medicine, almost all inpatient. Most intense year of my life but also the most beautiful. I loved my patients and grew from devastating losses. I found balance, ran most days, raced a sub-3 marathon. What a year.
So grateful to be at a program that recognizes the importance of giving space to these conversations early in and throughout residency! I love it here already 🥹
Our Med-Peds family continues to grow! Last night we celebrated our '23 grads & welcomed our new interns. We are so proud of Sam, Lynne, David & Helena & excited to have Alex, Theresa, Jordan, and Brenda begin their Med-Peds journey in Colorado. What a great night!
It’s June & today is our R1–>R2 transition day(!), so once again time to share advice how to be (read: BECOME) a GREAT Senior Resident. @nickmmark , crazy that we wrote this a decade ago! #MedTwitter Props to #SGIMForum who made this free & accesible https://t.co/Co9R2yqoAQ
