If I'd endured Covid in intensive care, delivered Brexit while occupying a toddler and preparing for another baby, and then grieved over my mother's grave, I'd feel a short break might be okay. Perhaps if @UKLabour viewed it as mental health therapy, they'd be more compassionate.
In the future, we will look back and wonder why quite so many people had the name of the 2021 Topham winner painted on their kitchen wall in a swirly font.

Unless and until there is evidence that our Govt is ignoring consensus advice from the nation’s chief medical advisers the PM and ministers deserve benefit of the doubt. They have much more information and responsibility for what happens next than any of us. Even more than Piers!

If you get the virus and you’re healthy, NOTHING will happen. Like a cold. Furthermore, the risk of actually getting it is extremely low. The biggest risk is to people like my Dad. 84 and on dialysis 3x a week. Know your facts. Wash your hands. Love ya
