Who is Charles Alusala? Daily nation says Charles Alusala is William Ruto's long serving accountant and also the name behind NTSA tender.

Its never about solving your problems. Its always about doing business with your taxes.

If you go through Governor Kang’ata’s account, you won’t scroll three times before finding a project being launched, completed or delivered to the people.

Then look at the social media accounts of some governors from the Coast, North Eastern and Nyanza. You’ll mostly find posts of them in meetings, meeting Ruto, meeting county officials, attending meetings, holding meetings and having more meetings. Everything except visible development.

They all receive devolution funds. The difference is what they choose to do with them. One chooses to put the money into projects that people can see and benefit from; others seem more interested in politics and personal enrichment.

TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERS

Lee Kuan Yew was Prime Minister of Singapore for 31 YEARS & transformed Singapore from 3rd World to 1st World in less than one generation; a feat no other country has done before or after.

Meles Zenawi was Prime Minister of Ethiopia for 17 YEARS. He transformed Ethiopia & could have achieved what Lee Kuan Yew did had he not died. Be that as it may, he laid a firm foundation that will make Ethiopia 1st World in our lifetime. Ethiopia could have realized it had it not been the civil war by Tigray terrorists.

Lee Kuan Yew & Meles Zenawi transformed their Countries without acquiring personal wealth. Both never made money outside their official salaries. Both never acquired houses or cars. Both lived austere & ascetic lives. Both wanted their countries & its people to generate wealth & high living standards.

Dear Good People Of Homa Bay

Today, your youth were paid to block young political leader Sifuna from peaceably entering Homa Bay town. In so blocking him, the world was exposed to your roads that resembled those of Yemen. Immediately, you were led by your leaders to blame President Uhuru Kenyatta for your state of roads. Blaming President Uhuru is intellectual laziness.

Since independence in 1963, Homa Bay unlike the rest of Luo Nyanza has always been with the Government of the day. Whilst rest of Luo was against President Jomo Kenyatta, Tom Mboya from Homa Bay was our first Economy Minister that came up with our development policy still in use until today. For entirety of President Daniel Arap Moi rule, Homa Bay provided KANU with its powerful leaders. History therefore shows that Homa Bay stood out in Luo Nyanza as it always produced powerful Ministers in every regime. Now we have Mbadi as our Finance Minister!

2010 Constitution took away national development from sole control of the President to Parliament. Budgetary allocation, financial appropriations & development projects are now the exclusive role of MPs. If you have no development in your County, blame your MP. Your MP can only exonerate himself by showing Hansard Report to his contribution during the BUDGET PROCESS.

Finally, since 2012, all Counties receive Billions for own development. Since 2012, Homa Bay has received over Kshs. 140Billion. Can it be seen on the ground? Homa Bay cannot blame any President for its problems. They should look at the mirror & ask themselves why it has always had powerful Ministers yet no development.

2027 gives Homa Bay another chance to elect leaders that serve the people & not themselves. Maybe a start will be electing Raymond Omolo as your Governor. Raymond has proven himself. Give him a chance. He may turn Homa Bay from Yemen to Little Monaco or Montego Bay.

Don’t blame others. Fix your leadership.

My advice to President William Ruto is simple: do not seek another term.

Listen to the voice of the people. Accept their verdict. Prepare the country for a peaceful transition.

If the current public mood is any indication, Kenyans are ready for a different direction. Sometimes the greatest act of leadership is not holding on to power, but knowing when to step aside with dignity.

The people have spoken. Leadership must listen.

In 2013, a Form Three girl called Lilian Gacheri woke up at 3 a.m. and walked the whole day in her school uniform looking for a miracle.

She needed over Sh60,000 in 3 days or she would miss her exams.

Her mother had nothing.

But that day Uhuru Kenyatta was holding a rally in Chuka.

Lilian tried reaching him. Security chased her away. She tried again. They pushed her back.

Then Uhuru noticed this schoolgirl refusing to leave.

He ordered the same security men to bring her to him.

She told him her story.

Uhuru took a piece of paper, wrote down her details, put it in his shirt pocket and simply told her:

“Go back to school.”

She didn’t believe him.

She returned to school expecting another politician’s forgotten promise.

The following morning, the headteacher called her.

Every shilling of her school fees had been paid.

She had also been enrolled into The Kenyatta Trust.

From that day, Lilian never worried about school fees again.

The Trust carried that little girl all the way to university. In 2018, she graduated with a degree in psychology and went on to build a life and career of her own.

Think about that.

A girl walked an entire day desperately looking for Sh60,000.

She returned with her whole future paid for.

Uhuru didn’t give her something to survive that Friday.

He gave her a reason to never have to beg again.

Sometimes changing a country is not about changing millions of lives at once.

Sometimes it is simply noticing one frightened child in a crowd that everybody else keeps pushing away.
