What makes this even more inexcusable is that the driver came back to the door to stick the note. He had a second opportunity to ring the doorbell or knock again at that point. He chose not to.

The moment I received the notification on my phone that someone was at the door, I immediately called my husband. However, by the time he got downstairs and reached the front door, the driver had already left and placed a door tag sticker.

Here is what is most frustrating: my husband was upstairs. How is he supposed to hear a single knock on the front door from the second floor of our home? That is exactly why we have a doorbell
@FedExHelp
At approximately 2:43 PM, the FedEx delivery van pulled into our driveway. The driver walked to the door and knocked only once. He did not ring the doorbell. He then waited approximately 1 minute and 15 seconds before walking away

Details of the Incident
On May 26, 2026, I was expecting a package shipped by AT&T that required a signature upon delivery. The tracking information indicated the package would be delivered before 8:00 PM. My husband - the named recipient on the package), was home resting upstairs as he works the night shift. I was monitoring the tracking from my workplace.
@FedExHelp
The delivery driver failed to make any reasonable effort to alert the recipient of his presence, despite a doorbell being clearly available at the front door.
