[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

I liked the format of the ending... It was a cool angle to tell about what happens in Gilead

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

@aliiiiigold but i think it will take awhile, not an easy process

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

@aliiiiigold I think if every1 can rise up together it can be fixed. They are moving in the right direction bc people are questioning Gilead

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

Interesting how even the ones at the top (Serena and Commander) break the order/rules of society... Shows how no one is truly benefitting

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

Do you think Serena is sincere/can we trust her? Or will she expose Offred about possibly having some other mans kid?

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

@BisigKate maybe they will all rise up and rebel together? But it's hard to tell right now because we don't know much about the other women

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

I still don't get what the Commander wants from Offred. Any ideas?

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

Is Offred pregnant? Since the ceremony, there hasn't been any info/talk about her pregnancy status...

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

@aliiiiigold I was wondering this also... Maybe he is also sick of a society without feelings and emotions

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

Interesting that unwomen were feminists in the days before Gilead... Really shows how they don't want women to be in control

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

This part of the book made me realize even more how degrading this society is towards women. They literally have no control what so ever.

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

I was surprised that Serena sat in the room when the Commander and Offred had sex

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

Even at the end of the book... The black/white imagery was still predominant... "Black crime"

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

@DunyaKnowWhoIAm @littleraskol I agree... It definitely hits some key points about the racism in society and opens our eyes to the division.

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

@BisigKate it's the first time someone's realizes they are "color" blind... I can't tell if Jan is being sincere though

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

"For the first time in his life a white man became a human being to him" --> It's hard to tell what his motives are.

[Lizzy Puyo- LIT @lizzy_puyo]

It's shocking how the white people call him an ape and treat him like he is inhumane. Very eye opening
