for years now we've been deluged with opinion pieces & full-length books about how young men are so sad/isolated/afraid to approach girls & women/oppressed by feminists & #MeToo/victims of a cruel anti-male culture ad nauseam; yet, as we see here, these entitled young men at Cornell had not the slightest hesitation or the mildest anxiety about committing a group rape of an intoxicated young woman, a classmate of theirs.
please spare us any more of those pathetic opinion & books pieces about sad young men pining away in loneliness & fear of girls & women.
& especially, please spare us blaming girls & women for their being so sad & oppressed.
everyone is so dramatic, please chill. she'll write something like folklore again. right now she's just feeling pop. chill! go listen to folklore if you want folklore. don't listen to showgirl if you hate it. very simple
people posting the lyrics to peace anytime taylor releases a bad song forget that "me!" and "i forgot that you existed" were released before folklore was even written
also yeah showgirl is not my fav, i do love a good chunk of the songs, im not crazy about these additional 4 songs therefore i will move on and listen to other songs of hers. not everything has to be so drastic! it doesn't HAVE to be "bad songs = bad forever" lol
like you simply were not properly listening to TTPD when it came out because it was more cool to hate on it but it genuinely have some of her best writing ever!!! you just didn't realize cus you heard the single line from the title song and decide it was cringe lol
@lqbyrinths no literally! was my FAV upon first listen and did not understand all the irrational hate. esp on the lyrics like... you did not actually listen to what I just listened to!
