Basically moral of the story is let’s just support ALL shelters and I know times are tough and people are having to choose between feeding their pets or kids, but make sure if you get a pet you know how much of a commitment it is!!

Reminder that ⭐️no kill shelters⭐️ just means they’re (prob) WAY pickier with the dogs they take (ex: not accepting pitties/lab or boxer mixes or dogs they deem unadoptable d/t things like medical problems) and use plenty of loopholes if they do need to euth just not for space

Meanwhile ‘kill’ shelters will usually take all animals, and therefore are constantly overrun and out of room

Just hate seeing near empty no kill shelters because they’re denying animals while large ‘kill’ shelters are euthing due to space issues that is a huge issue right now
