@TelegraphRoyals @Hannah_Furness All the comments about kids in the rain… This is Wales. Rain is part of our everyday lives. It won’t kill them, fgs. Anything for an outcry.
@XsandyEmpress@KensingtonRoyal Embarrassing why? As a Welsh person I appreciate and applaud their efforts. Welsh is a minority language so I’m not in the habit of mocking people for trying to speak it. We welcome anyone to try.
@Hairyloon@KensingtonRoyal So if you’re not Welsh why are you criticising them? I am Welsh and I appreciate the effort. Welsh people should be encouraging others to speak our language. We faught hard for it, so why not embrace others, especially such high-profile figures, speaking it.
@MrEarthling95 @KensingtonRoyal So what? The effort counts. Why should any of us criticise someone trying to speak our language? It should be encouraged not mocked.
@mimikkiki@LouMiddleton10b@KensingtonRoyal Yes it is hard to learn! I’m currently learning and being a Welsh person who knows how to pronounce the Welsh alphabet, am still not finding it ‘easy’ to learn. Easy to say for those who were fortunate to grow up speaking Welsh, but we didn’t all have that opportunity, remember.
@s_samantha14@KensingtonRoyal The authenticity was her effort. She isn’t a Welsh speaker don’t forget. Why be so critical towards someone who has made an effort to speak a language they don’t know. I’m Welsh and I appreciate it.
@its_The_Dr@SamanthaTaghoy@elonmusk This comparison is ridiculous. You have to have some skill to do that in Photoshop or with a pencil. It takes time to learn the programme. Any fool can do it with Gen Ai in a few seconds meaning it’s accessible to far more weirdos. And it’s far more realistic! Honestly think!
