@Ebure1971@lemonade524@sharrond62 You can't block her, that's the point, she has a seat for life. No one has ever been asked if they want her in Parliament and no one will ever have the opportunity to kick her out. It's plainly undemocratic. She will make laws on our behalf irrespective if we block her here.
@tonyphatt@redditchrache You take it wrong. That's not the issue. The issue is the electorate kicked her out of Parliament at the last election and chose not to give her another five years. She immediately stuck her fingers up to the electorate and took a seat in Parliament via the Lords for life.
@Ebure1971@lemonade524@sharrond62 I'm not expressing them in Parliament, though. We can all express our opinions and we have the right to do so. I question her right to do so in Parliament unelected. Nothing more.
@ArielAriel20768@sharrond62 The issue is where she expresses her views, not her views themselves. She sits in our Parliament, elected by nobody and accountable to noone. She is as entitled to her view the same as everyone.
@bobblesyawn@redditchrache Yes and she was kicked out of Parliament under the first past the post system. Because the electorate said no she can't have another five years, she stuck her fingers up to them and took a seat in the Lords for life.
@fletcherkathy8@sharrond62 If you would be kind enough to show me a copy of this imaginary constitution I would gladly read it. I am aware of the parliamentary convention, but think it stinks. She has a seat in our parliament for life with no mandate. That's undemocratic. Her views are not the issue.
@lemonade524@sharrond62 Her opinions are hers. I have no issue with her having them or expressing them. Doing so in our parliament with no mandate is my issue. The issue is one of democracy, nothing more.
@AntiqueGeekUK@drdavidbull Strange because I have asked for two tests since reaching fifty, and have been granted my wish on both occasions. My family have no history of Prostate issues and I have had no symptoms. When sent off for blood tests, I just asked if they could do a PSA at the same time.
@SJRH03@KemiBadenoch Why are straight people getting involved in what flag queer people want to fly. We'll let her know rather than accept her instructions. She needs to get back in her lane, her opinion on the matter is irrelevant.
@drlukeevans Free at the point of delivery, Luke. In the same way the services you offered as a GP. Your patients received care free at the point of delivery, although clearly were paid for centrally. You're not daft, just disingenuous.
@RupertLowe10 There are fourteen candidates in the by election. Restore have never won a parliamentary seat, indeed they have never contested one. You have to earn your place on the national stage, all fourteen candidates on a question and answer show would be dull, boring and very slow.
@JustEthanP I would stick to worrying about how the word fanny changed it's meaning on one of those long cross Atlantic journeys. The language is English, we know how to speak it. Washing up liquid for dishes, washing powder for clothes, soap for body.
@benjaminbutter The officer resigning has not resigned from accountability. He will still be investigated and could be charged accordingly. His resignation is from the force, he can't resign from either the law or the legal process. If my actions caused dire consequences, I would offer to resign
@Nigel_Farage You are on the BBC more often than the weather forecasters. Many things can be argued about the licence fee, not giving you airtime isn't one of them.
